Command Staff
The Unified Fire Authority operates under the direction of the UFA Board of Directors. These board members are directly appointed by the agency they represent. The UFA Board appoints the Fire Chief and the Chief Legal Officer. The Fire Chief serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is the highest-ranking officer at Unified Fire. The Assistant Chiefs are next in command and oversee all the day-to-day operations of Unified Fire Authority. The UFA is structured in a “paramilitary fashion”, with a command staff consisting of the following:
