Welcome to Week #2 of Fire Academy for Unified Fire Authority’s Recruit Class #54.

This week we focused on basics once again. The recruits had lessons on building construction, hose deployments, leadership, and for the first time- they entered into a real fire environment.

All recruits and cadre have continued with their weekly rapid COVID tests – all negative. We will maintain a COVID-aware campus through frequent testing, daily screening, and vaccination efforts. #UNIFIED54​
