Unified Fire Service Area (UFSA)

Unified Fire Service Area (UFSA) is a Special Service District. The focus and purpose of UFSA is to provide funding for fire-related services. The funding mechanism for these services is primarily through a property tax. UFSA is a separate entity from the UFA and operates with its own contract District Administrator and legal staff.

UFSA is not a service provider of emergency services, it is a taxing entity that uses collected taxes to construct Fire Stations and fund fire and rescue services through the UFA. The UFA does not own any Fire Stations, however, the Member Fee provides for all station operating costs, routine facility maintenance, and apparatus and equipment purchases.
