COVID-19 Community Safety Update
March 16, 2020
In light of recent developments surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect the health of our members as well as the health of the public, Unified Fire Authority will be restricting non-critical interactions with the public for the time being.
911 Emergency Response will continue unaffected.
The following are examples of the types of interactions that will by postponed until further notice:
- station visits
- open houses
- crew visits to schools/community facilities
- use of community rooms by outside groups
- ride-a-longs, etc.
If you currently have a station visit or tour scheduled within, we will make every effort possible to contact you to reschedule your visit. Please understand that we schedule over 1000 tours/events each year, so rescheduling the visits will take some time.
