Work Schedule

Most seasonal employees will begin their season around May 1, 2022. Most positions require non-standard work schedules such as four 10-hour days, 14 days on and two days off, or other variations.

Early and late season employment is on an as-needed basis, depending on: weather, fire season, and budget. A 40-hour week is not guaranteed during preseason or postseason work. The season usually ends in October.
